Mangled, almost destroyed the cupholder

I have sport seats. I extends the legs piece out a little bit and wedge the bottle it there. It works pretty well. I decent cup holder would be better. I've broken three already with 20oz coke bottles. Theres a big snap then when you pull it out is broke.

Seems reasonable to me. What's the problem? I've had no problem having that baby hold a bottle of water securely, 20 oz. You're sure right about putting it on the front seat, though. Rolls on the floor, then you need to contort to get it at the next light, if you're lucky enough to be stopping at a light. It's asking for a wreck trying to retrieve it on the highway.

Maybe I'm putting bottles that are too small in there because mine flap all over the place. They don't always fall but it always seems like they will at any freakin' minute. Maybe I've just been scarred by the old cupholders. :'(

Typically, I use the cupholders in the back but that's almost as bad as having it roll all over the seat and floor.
