Good question. We will probably need Iceman for that one. It would probably be cheaper that way. BMW did the same thing with the m facia package on the e39. It was in the last or second to last year of production that the sport package equipped e39 came standard with the M facia treatment.

They will probably do the same thing with the e60. I think BMW holds back on stuff so they can keep upgrading each year to increase sales.

 

Also its not on the standard price list and is in the accessory manual. I wonder what the VPC does with all the bumpers and sides that it removes from all the euro kit installs.

I think its because they don't install accessories at the factory even if you order them with your car (i.e. different oem wheels, spoilers, etc are installed in the US)

 

So everybody gets used bumpers on their new cars? I wonder if the repaint them or try to match up the colors with factory cars that have no bumpers. This is funny.

Why doesn't the factory get the word that a partiicular car is getting the Aero Kit and they could build the car bumperless in Germany and ship it to the VPC for the aero kit install. These cars are supposed to be known for their German precision and enginnering but they are shipping bumpers back and forth across the world for no apparent reason.

I have heard that BMW is going to ship spark plugs to the moon and back for the ///M6.
