Just curious if anyone else has this....

On my auto '06 550.....when I have it in first gear and give it a quick throttle blip...when I let off the gas pedal, the car doesn't respond right away....the car still is lurching forward for about another 2 secs, then lets off. It's almost like it has a slow response when letting off the gas. Not sure if it does it every time, but I have experienced it 4-5 times. Scared me the other day as I was coming up on a car and it was still pulling after I left off.
I've only noticed it as described above.....any other time it responds normally. Is this normal?

I dont know much if it happens on the 5 series or saw it at least. But my girlfriends X5 does it all the time, i drove it couple times and it does the exact thing as you mentioned.
