I got in my car at the airport after 2 days, and when I started it up it went nuts, buzzing and such, and then I had a low coolant message. The dealership is only a few miles from the airport so I went straight there. They were very nice, I shut the car off, and turned it back on and it was gone, they didn't know what to think of it but they thought if it was a little low on coolant it could set something off. They filled it up and this morning when I started it, it was fine. Any suggestions, It had snowed about a foot that night and was cold, but I wouldn't think cold would affect it.

I had the same message yesterday morning. I added some BMW coolant and it was fine. The car only has 10K miles. I thought there was a small leak somewhere but the garage floor is clean. Seems like a lot to evaporate over such small mileage.

Not an uncommon problem--do a search and you'll see several recent threads discussing it.
