Low coolant Level

It should come out there.

So maybe you are lucky and it's not the pipe leaking...


OTOH, it is possible that it leaks to the outside of the engine and the water comes down at the water pump, when the O-Ring is not yet totally broken...

I should knew everything at 16.11 cause my mechanic will take my pump out. I belive we should see what happends when pump will be off.

It is a unit with fins on it at side of engine, it allows water and oil to pass through unit.

scary stuff, been reading a lot of these issues on the 4.4 motors...

Any way to catch this problem early? Symptoms etc? BMW should do a recall, $8000 is absurd, tim<div align='left'></div>e to switch to benz? Perhaps...

My car also has this problem I top it off with BMW coolant and 2 weeks later it says Coolant Level Low

Are you guys referring to the "weep" hole on the waterpump or some other weep hole?

well i just looked and it looks like there is a little weep hole behind the waterpump on the timing cover. Is that what you guys are referring to?
