I have a 2008 528i and a "Right Low Beam Malfunction" came on. The bulb is out. Does anyone know what kind of bulb it is? and any good website I can get it from? Thanks for your help.

Elaborate more of what kind of headlight you have ... Halogen or Xenon? When in doubt post up a close pic of your headlight.

It is an H7 Halogen bulb, you can pick one up at any car parts store for a few $'s

If the car is 2008 it should still be under the warranty, the dealer should replace it for free.

Your car is an '08 ... are you out of warranty? If you are, any auto parts store / big box store should fix you up with a replacement. Before you conclude the bulb is bad, try to reseat the bulb connection. Sometimes the sockets get funky and the bulb will not illuminate.

If it bad, in my experience if one has gone, the other isn't far behind. I'd buy a two-pack and keep the remaining old (good) bulb as a spare. There are lots of brighter - whiter replacements made by the majors (Osram, Phillips, etc.) For a couple of bucks more you'll get a whiter/ brighter light without looking ricer-blue.

I'd recommend the Sylvania SilverStar Ultra's http://www.sylvania....ilverStarUltra/ And if I'm not mistaken you could find a web-rebate coupon for $5 or $10 too.
