You claimed that your 535 is faster than any 550 on this board. Sorry, I just had to jump in. That's ridiculous. There *has* to be somebody on this board with a 550i and nitrous/blower.

It is part of the M Package on page 19, but not available for the 535i.
Yes, it is part of the optional sport package, not standard.

As of today I do not know of anyone that does, my search came up empty. Maybe you can be the first? Do it!

btw- there was no official M or Msport package available in 08, it was just called the sport package. The 08 550 sport package is similar to the official M-Sport package that came out in either late 09 or 10, but it is not exactly the same.

Are we talking hot in shape teenagers or pimply overweight slob teenagers? I wouldn't mind bench-racing with a hot teenager as long as she was over 18.

how do you know which tunes void the factory warrenty? I would like to put a tune in my 535i, but do not want to get the warranty voided.

Dinan is the only one I'm aware of. However, you will get more power (for less as well) with the JB4 or Cobb. The JB4 is a piggyback that you would want to take off before going in for any big service, the Cobb is a handheld flash tune that you can reflash the std "map" back into the car (through the OBD port) before taking it in. Both tunes allow you to clear any phantom tuner codes that may have popped up. There are more options out there, but these two are my personal favorites, and probably the most popular as well.

Sweet, you out-drove him then. A 550 will probably be my next BMW as well, but it will be the twin-turbo F10.
