The early build e60 were more problemmatic. My May 04 build 545 has been flawless. It is a great car.

Another way to save up to 9% is to do Euro Delievery coupled with the $1,000 refund from BMW CCA.

Logic 7 Premium Sound is a "must have" option in my opinion.

Hi there,
I'm considering buying a demo model 545i and will be test driving one in a few days.

Welcome to the bored, Leburpor. I personally would be leery of owning a demonstrator. I believe the break in period is important, and there is no way that a demo was broken in properly. Most of us took great pains to see that the brakes, engine, and transmission were broken in according to the manual. The dealership staff pays no regard to break in periods not to mention the customers who have done solo test drives in your demo.

Get the 545, I came from owning 3 MB's and now I'm on my 3rd BMW and never looked back.

I would have to agree with JDN. This isn't the type of car to start off with hesitation. If you were looking at a Honda or Toyota, I would feel very comfortable buying a demo. In fact I have bought demo's in the past, but for my 545i, I wasn't going to compromise the break in price for a future break in my life to deal with potential problems you are not aware of due to break in period.

Just my 2cts.
