Default Looking to buy this 550, please help with some basic info

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy this 550 and just have a few questions

1) Is this car lowered? The dealer doesn't know anything about bimmers (it's a Honda dealership) and it looks a little lower than other 550's.
2) Is this a real M package 550? Or the original owner just added some M parts? How do I know?
3) It doesn't have any service records but I took a test drive and everything seemed to be fine. Any way I can tell if the manufacture suggested maintenance are done?
4) Do you think it's worth it? It's around 82k miles
5) Any other specific things that I should check out?

thanks a lot

thanks a lot
That's a 550i alright try offering them $14,000
If you're not looking to mod it, I say get it. If you're looking to mod it get a 535i instead.

The best advice I can give, especially if you don't know a lot about Bimmers, is to spend about $100 and have it thoroughly inspected by a respected BMW indy or mechanic. They will be able to answer your questions with certainty. Then you can buy it with peace of mind.

The car does not look lowered. Sport package cars are low from the factory. It does appear to have the M sport package. Get the last seven digits of the VIN and you can look up all factory options to know for sure. The car is not presented very well.

I agree with the Above, get it inspected by a BMW dealership or INDY. A dealership can tell you the service history as well.
Just by looking at it, it's got:
-M-sport package, but no sport automatic
-Navigation System
-Logic 7 Sound system
-Cold Weather Package w/heated rear seats
-manual side and power rear sunshade

The trunk, interior and engine compartment show no love. Plus there are no apparent records for the car. I think I would keep walking.
Best of luck to you.
