Default Lets play... Would you rather?

Q: for the group....Which is more attractive to a buyer? Which would you pay more for?

Identical e60 BMW color, 50k miles, condition, and options. One has a brand new engine replaced by BMW with a 2yr unlimited mile warranty, other one all orig no warranty.

I would think the replaced motor. If anything goes wrong, you have a 2 yr warranty on it.

I'm assuming the re-engined one costs more? If it's more than a 2K difference in price, I'd rather the all original E60 here. With the low mileage, they both sound like a newer LCI 5 that shouldn't give you any problems.

The added cost is basically just a warranty on the engine. Also, I'd be wondering why the first E60 needed a new motor.

Good feedback.

To change up the scenario would new $8,000 trans w 2yr warr change any buyer perceptions? replaced under warranty so had to be a defect. (Assume Original engine for this scenario)
