My Ride: Fully Loaded Monaco Blue 550i Sport
Is it possible to watch DVD or VCDs in my car?
It came with DVD Navigation... i tryed popping in a DVD just for kicks but it didnt play...
I tryed the search function and also the FAQ but couldn't find anything related...

Or you could do this. These guys are based in NY too, so they can do the install.

Whoa... just called these guys up and they told me $1,000 for me to watch DVDs and that includes install...
How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

The corrcet answer is: NO, it'S impossible to watch DVD's w/o major mods, such as installing aftermarket devices.

I have the ACM Module (bought in Germany a couple of weeks ago)... However there is not installation instruction/manual in the box, where can I get one?

I never did compare them... dont know much on the subject or care to know because its not a mod i care for. but heres the link on ebay for the item i saw.

from the look of his feedback from a couple bmw owners 2 with 7series 3series and x5.. seems to me it isnt that hard...
seems plug and play.. i would think if his item didnt work on bmw's 1 of those people would have given - feedback looks like a flawless 100% positive to... look further into this it may work for you but be cautious because u maybe tossing your warranty down the drain if it cause any problems bigggg draw back but to each him own.. good luck anyways.
