My Ride: 545, Auto, Sport, L7, Pdc, Sunshades, Silver Gray/Black, 19x8.5/9.5 Monet Wheels, Michelin PS A/S Tires, Full M-KIt, B&B Exhaust, 20% Llumar Tint

Away went the 525 Sport Auto with the 19?s and in came the 545 Sport Auto. The buyer (my neighbor) really liked the 19?s on the car?so I sold it with all the add-ons intact. I?m going to stick with the oem 18?s?I don?t like them quite as much as 19?s but they?re nice enough that I?m not going to change (ok, ok I promised my wife I wouldn?t?that?s the real reason).

To be honest the 525 was enough for me 90% of the time?the 545 is just more of a good thing. Still breaking the car in but my initial reaction is that is deceptively fast?.you?re going a lot faster than you think you are. It?s funny it ?feels? the same as the 525 on the highway at speed (albeit a bit heavier)?but it's going about 25mph faster than I?m used to?in other words?seat of the pants (used to the 525) says 80mph while the actual speedo says 105mph.

Would have liked to stay with Titanium Grey/Black?but in that I was going with a 2004 to take advantage of current pricing/financing?I ended with a Silver Grey/Black that was in the area

ch76,

From you post, it sounds like I should not rush to get a 545 if my average speed is 70MPH?

You said, on the highway they feel more or less the same and that 90% of time the 525 was good enought?

Oh boy that bring joy to my pedal.

I thought my 525 comparing to a 545 was like a yugo comparing to a porsche?

All the models go fast on the highway. It's just how long it takes to get there. Once their there, I suspect, the cars are very similar given similar options.
