Left steering wheel controls and horn not working...

Engine: n52
just got this problem to
non of the buttons on steering wheel are woking(volum up/down,next source.voice..horn)and also when i turn the lights on, the buttons do not light up!!
what that could be?
ps.i have the 2006 n52 530i (build 06/2005) retrofited oem m5 steering wheel and the paddles work!!(they dont also light up..u know the "+" and "-" led)
hope to get some advices
