Only the rods, and it looks fantastic. I don't use the auto position, but the "on" position which means that the lights are always on when I drive.

I really like the way the tail lights are dimmed slowly when I lock the car... first the center dims until it's off, then the rods slowly dim.

The bulbs are for braking (2 phases, hence 4 bulbs). The rear lights are the small white rectangles. All lights are very bright, and I wonder if they're not too bright to disturb people behind you (like the LED blinkers)

Cool pic, cheers!

:Yes, I do have the option "daytime running lights" enabled in iDrive.
Can anyone explain if these LCI Daytime running lights can be also enabled on pre-LCI cars?
I see a lot of new E90s and LCI E60s on the road and these lights look quite good - I tried to activate them (and I managed to do it via iDrive), but they don't work Some dealer's action required, I assume?
Anyone did it already? (costs?)

On my pre LCI all I have to do (after DRL enabled in iDrive) is to turn the light control all the way to the left (Position 0/Auto).

After using this system for a month, I can only say that I'm very pleased with it. It's the best navigation system I've used so far (I had Becker traffic pro & VDO systems before, as well as various TomTom devices). It's fast, accurate, user friendly and contains all the POIs I'm looking for. When you select a POI, you can directly call their phone number as well via bluetooth (this is actually very useful when travelling to a certain restaurant for instance).

TMC works better than ever. You can see every roadwork or traffic jam on the maps, very accurately.

I had a smile on my face when my car warned me for a traffic jam just behind a corner on a German autobahn (see pic). This is actually a real safety feature I think, as a sudden traffic jam on a autobahn just behind a corner can be quite tricky when you're cruising with 200km/h+.

Can only recommend the LCI business nav, it's definitely worth the extra money over a TomTom.
