My car only has 7800 miles on it and the front calipers are rusting a bit...Once I put the M6 wheels on it...those calipers jumped right out at me...thinking I should try and paint them black or silver...anybody else do this? If so, what did you use?

It's a fairly common problem...a quick search here using the terms "paint" and "caliper" yielded the following:

I have 30000 miles on my car. No sign of rust or discoloration. They are same grey they were when got the car new. I am really surprised because all of my previous bmw's calipers looked like crap after 10000 miles.

I think you'll find that people who use a harsh wheel cleaner or an automatic car wash will see the calipers lose the silver paint...

Anyone know how hard it is to do the duplicolor kit and get good results? I would hate to make it look worse than it already is.

I was in the same boat when I put on my 167's. So I painted the hubs silver and the calipers black. Huge improvement.
