Dealer has diagnosed wear in the rear wishbones of my E61, hopefully this will be covered by warranty.

But also states car seems to be pulling a little and the tyre wear pattern indicates it needs a full 'KDS' check.

This appears to be a full 4 wheel geometry check, they are quoting me ?245 which seems very steep. I have told them to leave it for the time being.

I have not noticed any significant pulling or unusual tyre wear.

Anybody come across this?

Check out this thread......... http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry553621

I was told I should have it too. I didn't bother as mine feels fine but from the answers in the above thread, if you are thinking about getting it done then negotiate the price down from the 245 you've been quoted.

With regard the check, the dealers in the UK are doing this as a special offer of ?199 as no one was paying the full price. I had it done on my e61 after clouting a kerb very hard and it was very good. It is a very thorough check as they restore it to its factory settings.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
