So, I knew it would eventually come. I now have a ridiculously creaky back seat. No folding seats, either.

I also have "cruise control fault--drive to your nearest BMW dealer."

The red light-up fan signifying timed ventilation keeps coming on randomly.

I haven't heard of the last 2 from anyone yet.

It's just one thing after another!

With no NAV, I don't have a way to "reboot." Plus, after turning the car off and on several times, that's doing plenty of rebooting.

So sorry to hear of your latest problem. Maybe you should change your screen name to: Trublovsme. Just kidding. Hope your car problems get resolved soon.

Sue,

This may sound crazy, but you should disconnect your battery and leave it disconnected for about 1 hour and then reconnect it. As long as you have your service records and/or copies of your complaints to the the dealer, you don't have to worry about losing any data as proof of all your trouble.

I am thinking of the car as a computer or laptop. Sometimes you have issues, and just restarting the laptop doesn't do it. However, if you disconnect the battery, it sometimes takes care of the problem at least for a little while.

Try it...it can't hurt. You may have to take the car in to get things set/reset, but you probably were going to have to take it in anyway.

Sue -

We know that your car is allegedly a shitbox; however, no one on this site apparently has the balls to tell you "too bad, get another car."

I've listened to this for some time now.

WHY DON'T YOU JUST GET A DIFFERENT CAR????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.: And, if your name's not "Sue," get another name.

I think you should see a priest and have an exorcism performed on the car. You have demons or gremlins taking over that car.

Or, just get a full frontal labotomy and get an Audi.
