I saw my first 08 550i Sport on the road in Santa Monica, CA yesterday and have to say WOW. I've seen them on dealers lots, pics, etc but, on the road and in motion it has a very nice presence. Its the same feeling when I saw my first Jet Black 545i in 2003 on the road.
The 550i was Space Grey and looked great. I keep forgetting i have a camera on my phone

Platinum Gray Metallic has a green metal flake that is noticeable under some lighting conditions. The color will vary rather significantly according to lighting. I will post various photos collected from previous posts. It is a color that I considered.

I have just placed my order without having seen this colour on the road anywhere in Sydney.
I have visited Lomag's E60 forum gallery, and seen the shots here ; the colour looks very different in different angles and lighting - in sunshine at normal angles it looks outstanding !
Will now sleep easy while the 5 is built; looking forward to seeing it 'in the flesh' on delivery.

It is a bit lighter..but very similar to the Pl. gray
