My Ride: 2008 550i, Jet Black, Natural Brown Leather, Dark Wood Trim, 6 sd MT, Sports Pkg., Comfort Access, Sunshades, Cold Weather Pkg., iPod & USB, Nav, Satellite Radio w/Logic7.

That is the price... my '08 550i was right there are well. RE: the M5 vs. the 550i, it all comes down to why you are purchasing the car. Personally I feel the new 550i is pefectly positioned. It is refined enough as a daily driver even with the 6MT, and yet with the Sport Pkg. it handles as well as you could ever expect. The stock 360 hp/360 torque provides enough power to enjoy it as a sports sedan... and the real kicker is, when driven conservatively the fuel consumption is 17/18 city and 26/27 hwy. Overall this vehichle is simply a dream-car!

+1000! The 550i is where it's at! With due respect to the 535i, a fine car in its own right but the 550i with the M sport package seems "special". I even quite enjoy the sport automatic when wanting to have fun with the car.
