Just perfect... BMW logo peeling

I saw the same BMW logo peeling problem a couple of days ago on a new 745i, but it was not on the hood, it was on the trunk. At that time, I thought the owner probably did it to make it look different.

My moms 13 year old logo didnt have that problem... it was finally replaced last month because it was starting to crack and didnt look nice.

I HONESTLY do NOT want to even think about these cars 13 years down the road..... and yes, 13 years old for a car is pretty good. it does take a bit of care to keep a car running, more than just an oilchange every 15K miles. koodos on that ... especially if its a great condition

Oh ya the car is in excellent condition... looks like a 4 year old car at most... And even better than some people's 1 year old car.

I have noticed the BMW logos have become cheaper and cheaper in quality. Had to replace all 7 BMW logos on my sis Z3 as they started to peel. Never had to do that on any other make. <_<

It is from our 2004 BMW. The car has only been washed at the dealer. It has never been through a car wash. EVER. Neither me nor my husband have washed the car. So whatever swirl marks/abrasive cleaners/etc... used were used by the dealer. Our car is in to the dealer so frequently that we don't need in-between washes... we just rely on the service wash. I didn't wash the car before I took the photo. I can't believe I'm the one coming under fire for this one!
