My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.

Are they sandbagging the HP of the larger V8 turbo? As I said before, if the F01 were availale in time for my lease expiration, I'd get that car (assuming it dives as well as I expect).

BMW's marketing plan was always to have a 100 HP difference between the sixes and the V8's. In recent years that meant almost a 1.0 sec 0-60 mph difference between the two. The 535 upset that apple cart but things will be back in balance in MY 2010.
