dennis....yes as other have said, your missing the first aid kit. I can confirm it is in UK cars at least....get the dealer to give you the kit for free, i cannot believe they charge for them.....mind i cannot talk i paid about ?17 at the dealer last week for the torch that fits in the glovebox socket slightly OT, did your car come with the torch in the glovebox ?

ps: definitely get the 5 series keyring....i know its a bit "cheesy" having the matching key ring...but who cares

I don't have the torch. But I also don't have the slot to put it in...

The 5 series key-ring is for my wives key..

Thanks for the information alohalc. Is this something that I should try to get for free before I pay for it?
GP545iSport, i think you are still new and not quite familiar with the code buttons. i see the "
" and "
" in your post. all you need to do is copy the contents you want to quote, then hit the "quote" button, paste it, then "quote" button again and it will end the quote. sorry for being the smarta$$ <_<. anyway, just go ahead and try. not going to hurt to ask. but i doubt the dealer will give it out. that is probably something they need to order, too.
did your car come with the torch in the glovebox?
i think the u.s. spec cars come with the little flashlight. finally something is a little better for the u.s. spec than the europe spec .

My car came with a torch (Nov '03 built) and I'm surprised your Dec '03 E60 did not. I thought only E60s built in 2004 onwards stopped having the torch as standard. Maybe it started in Dec 2003 production.

Do you have the partnumber ? I'll ask my dealer if he can install it on mine too. Currently I see where the space is left for the socket, but there is a plastic cover on it. If the socket is under it I want him o put it in...

Maybe you should get armoured plating and bullet proof windows too.
