*shrugs* price and "more room" but makes no sense... its kinda like I want a 4 wheel motorcycle... the E60 isnt ment to be a long executive car... get a E65 if you want that... I dunno... those Chinese... makes no sense.
they have too much money to spend and they are very lazy to drive too.
That why they buy the L and not the normal 1s
8 out of 10 is a L in HK for the 7s

I definately agree that the door panels are a step backwards. I like the current ones better because they are more modern looking and the lines on them flow better with the overall modern design of the E60. These new door panels on the Li model may satisfy the people who always complained that the E60 interior was cold and not luxurious or upscale, but I think they don't look like they belong on an E60. I hope that BMW keeps the original ones on the facelifted E60 that will come out next year.

Is this really useful?

How many inches are lost with the addon to the back of the seats? Looks to me as if most of the lengthwise expansion of the body is eaten up by these two huge lumps.

I'd happy leave the space for an ultraportable laptop

The extra length makes the wheels appear undersized.

Just remove the front seats and drive from the rear... Speaking of Skewed size human beings, what do Shaq drive?

BTW those Chinese Characters on the back read:"Hua Chen Bao Ma" ("Hua Chen"=name of the company and Bao ma which literally means "precious horse" (What BMWs are called in China))
