Looking at the back-seat area, it seems they've added seat-back tables for the use of the rear-seat passengers. In most of the photos they're folded down, but in one photo, the right-hand table is folded up (but the photo only shows a corner of it). Also, it seems they've put ambient lighting into the center console above the back-seat area.

wow its like a ghetto 7 series back there...

what do the chinese characters on the trunk say?
The first two characters are "Brilliance", the Chinese Automobile maker who assembled the Bimmer kit in China. There are 2 types of BMW in Mainland China, domestic made and imported. Only the domestic made ones have the Chinese badge on it.

The last two characters are "BMW" in Chinese, it roughly translated to "The precious Horse", pronounced as "Bao Ma". Where "Bao" means precious, "Ma" means horse.

Whats fugly all about then???
IMHO, the door panels is a step backward in terms of the aggressive styling on the E60. The current designs flows better together. Maybe it takes time for me to get used to the new design.

Being that I'm half asian, I feel I can say this... What the hell do Chinese people need that much room for??? We're short people!!!
This has been discussed throughly on this thread

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=279891

Plus Chinese are not that short, is not like we are midgets or mini-me. So the extra legroom would be nice.

The interior looks like something from the E90. A step back IMO so I prefer my E60 interior, sometimes changes are not necessary for the better.

*shrugs* price and "more room" but makes no sense... its kinda like I want a 4 wheel motorcycle... the E60 isnt ment to be a long executive car... get a E65 if you want that... I dunno... those Chinese... makes no sense.
