While washing my car today I heard a very quiet INTERMITTENT beep coming from under the hood (passenger side I believe). It was at least 45 minutes since I last opened one of the doors on the car, and the vehicle was unlocked if that matters. This isn't to be confused with the "buzzing"/constant beep that occurs immediately after the door has been closed (and not the alarm chime either
) .
This was a very faint intermittent beep....any ideas?

Since there are no replies to this thread I'd imagine it's a problem that I should address next time I take my car in for service....or perhaps I'm hearing things....lol

It could be the hour memo? In settings you may have checked it when you set your clock forwards an hour, i would check that out.
whoops kinda misread what you said about being under the hood!

Along the lines of this, has anyone else noticed a high pitched whine from the outside of the car?
Every loaner I've had for the last 6 months (BMW not Mini) has had this external sound, and I just don't know why!
