There a couple ways of repairing this....
  1. Go online and ask what it 'could be' and replace those parts you decide is the issue (blind luck) hoping it will fix the problem.
  2. Go to the dealer, have them diagnose it, and maybe afterwards have it fixed.
  3. Go have a independent , have them diagnose it, and maybe afterwards have it fixed.
  4. Go to have the code read and ask the question again here hoping you at least have a better direction.
  5. Have the code read and research (online and otherwise) and perform the correct repairs yourself.
  6. Ignore the problem and hope it goes away

Try cleaning your MAF (mass airflow sensor) located just after the air filter. You'll see a plug that goes into the tube. Clean it with a MAF cleaner from your local autoparts store. Really simple to do and report back. Good luck

Took it to a local indie shop. They did not see any obvious vacuum leaks from a visual inspection. They tried replacing the MAF sensor but levels were still off. They put my old sensor back and did a smoke test and found a rotten/disintegrated lower breather hose from crankcase vent valve to oil dipstick tube. They didn't see it initially because of outer woven hose sleeve looked fine.

Diagnostics labor cost: $120
Replace hose (parts + labor) : $122
