Great question. Keep in mind that the stock LCI 550 Sport has a better tuned, sport suspension, compared to that of the standard 535i Sport. However, if both cars were to be highly modified, I would probably go with a 535i now. I wouldn't recommend the xi version, since this car does not even come with a true sport suspension.

The only reason (other than money) one would get the Xi model would be for the snow and bad weather and that is the reason why I opted for the 535 instead of the 550. If they both were the same price, I would have gotten the 550 and put on snows.

I own a 550 and I had a 535 recently during a service visit. Total difference in power.

Wouldn't go back to a 535.

I probably would switch to a 535,i not xi. I love turbo cars...so easy to make power compared to a N/A car

Ha, I've been thinking about this lately. Especially since the M sport package is available for both models.

IMO.....Stock only, 550i. But tuned/mod'd=535i

Also depends on the tune you run on the 535i

Procede vs JB perform differently.
Also have Dinan and the soon to be released BMW performance tune to compare/consider
