Yes, alternator is working fine. Your battery needs to be recharged. If you don't have one, I'd recommend you buy a trickle charger and charge the battery.

Yeah I ordered a battery tender yesterday. My wife used the car last night on another 100 mile run. This morning the battery was 12.1V resting. The car just needs to be driven longer distances. Anyway, sorry and didn't mean to thread hack. The idrive going out on me just freaked me out.

I bought one of these recently and keep it in the glovebox. Works great and I use it to check my battery and charging system every few weeks or so since I know my battery is reaching the end of its useful life.
