Idrive suckzzzzzzzzz.....

My Ride: ACS 745i, M-Tech 545i
I was driving to the meet today. When I was just merging from 2 freeway to 134 suddenly the navigation freeze. After a while the whole screen shutoff and takes approx 5-10 minutes for the computer to reset the whole system. By the time the computer back to normal I was already lost somewhere in Pasadena coz I keep on driving while the computer resetting the system.
What pissed me of the most is I was arrived arround 10:35-10:40, which is 5-10 minutes after the convoy leave the starbucks parking lot. What makes it even worse is I only have direction to that meeting point and do not print out the whole route for today drive. I try to call some people that is already in the group but cannot talk to them because their phone has no coverage around angeles crest highway. After tired trying to call everybody I know, I have to returned home with nothing.
Today is the first time I have problem w/ idrive, is it ever happen to any body????

7K'Rev, sorry you missed the meet & drive it was AWESOME! Would have loved to meet you. It was GREAT meeting those in attendance. Hope the I-Drive issue is not a major one. Look for pics in the Gallery under "Meet & Greets" some nice one are already posted.

At the same time, press the volume control, dvd eject switch, and cd eject switch to do a hard reboot of the iDrive system. This is iDrive's version of Ctrl-Alt-Del.
