Hi guys,
I just did this no problem to reset my breaks, and plugs as I did them without the dealer. All I had to do was..
1 - Put key in the car
2 - Press Ignition ON button once
3 - Hold down the odometer reset button for 10 seconds until the Triangle shows up. Kept holding until it went to show the brake fluid icon
4 - Quickly pressed the odometer button again until I found the icon I needed to reset
5 - Held it for another few seconds on that icon until reset came up
6 - Released the button quickly and pressed again until the service reset
I did not have to reset the mileage on the odometer or turn the car on and off, as Tonyd had mentioned above.
Hope this helps. Thanks Tonyd for the tips.

Just replaced and reset the microfilters 15 minutes ago. The iDrive set the next change to another 100,000 miles.
