My Ride: 545i - ordered in January delivered April 21st! Black Sapphire Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Anthracite Maple.
I brought my car in for service 2 days ago for a gremlin in the iDrive system. It would randomly go through a series of moves (turn RDS on/off, bass/treble up down, change radio stations, mute/colume) while driving. They tried to troubleshoot this but couldn't find anything. They decided to recode it - but that didn't work so BMW instructed them to replace the main processor (ACS??). They tried this and now the car won't accept the ACS?? So they will need it for another day.
Anyone else have issues like this? I am not mad, I understand issues happen - just curious if others have had service issues.

I don't see how BMW isn't losing their ass replacing all these electronics under warranty?
I mean, seriously.... they've got to be sitting back there in Munich saying "F&$%ing HELL..... all these warranty claims are costing us $$$$.
