Hi everyone!
I am constantly getting this carsoft EGS fault code "5149", which refers to "No CAN message from power module".
It keeps coming back after erasing all fault codes.
I have some symptoms like weird vibration when accelerating at low speeds, which is felt all over the car. It is getting worse and more frequent. I also have hesitations when accelerating uphills from fourth gear at speeds around 80km/h, the RPM will climb and dip when gets near 3000, feels like tranny is slipping. This mainly happens when the car is still cold, and it improves when warmed up.
No loss of power. The car idles smooth.
I don't know if the 5149 fault code is related to these symptoms. Carsoft doesn't show any other errors.
My car is a 2004 E60 530i automatic with 110k miles.
Please help me with this problem.
