The other day after version 12 was installed with sirius sat also,

I was at speed w/ a/c on when there was a bang from under the

I-drive controller and the screen flashed to white. At the same time

smoke and odor of electrical burn came through the vents. I drove

to the dealer where no fault codes were found and the car is now

working perfectly. Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else

 

sounds like a delayed 4th of July fireworks show.
Haven't heard of this.
Seems like the dealer should inspeck under the iDrive for electrical damage.
