Can you guys and girls, give me a good sales price for a CPO 2007 530i, 52K miles, nav, premium pkg.

Im thinking about trading up and want to know what I can get for it if I try to sell on my own.

Thanks for the feedback...

i got mine from the dealership and it was $29k even, but it had 44k miles. i think you could get 22-24k on your own. i do see some for just under 20k as a private sale but they are not CPO'd. how much time is left on the warranty? i think in general the dealership marks up approximately 5k for the CPO for 525/530s, 8k+ for 535/550s.

I got $23,000 for my 2007 530xi with sport, premium, logic 7, cold weather, navigation, basically fully loaded with 47k. A non-franchised dealer is now selling my car asking for $28,999.

Tried to sell privately for asking price of $30,000, but I only got offers of close to the $23,000 which is the manheim auction value. CPO means nothing unless you can find a buyer who wants to buy a warrantied car private party, which is hard to find. It also means nothing for the trade in.

There are so many of these cars for sale out there.

Bottom line, expect to take a hosing when getting rid of your E60.

yeah, that's pretty much exactly what i said. about 5k is what the value of a CPO is on a 525/530 these days. although, bmw doesn't do much on the front of 2007 CPO's anymore either since we are almost in 2011, so i think that gives you an edge in a private sale of your 530i that still has a CPO warranty intact.
