I agree, the mods here rock... but I think he was wondering if anyone has gotten the work done or contacted the dealer yet...

I know of a few members who contacted their dealers, but to get the work done you still have to wait until you get the letter in the mail - I suspect

Do you have to wait for the letter and not just go in and request for it? I was at the dealer for other services after this recall we published, but they did not mentioned or do anything to my car regarding this recall.

They won't unless you have issues with the brakes or have the letter in hand.

All recalls go to the registered owners. I believe DMV will provide names and addresses to manufactures for recalls
