Remote unlock service isn't available from BMW. Why not call them and see if they have another suggestion.

CA doesnt lock when you walk away or unlock when you walk towards the car.

You actually have to touch the correct part of the door handle to lock the car and you have to pull the handle to unlock it

Most of the functions in e60 are computer operate, I wonder why BMW assist can?t unlock the door remotely. It should be hard for them to do at all.

So did you get the keys back?

My only question, and I'm probably way too late, is whether or not the cabin was unlocked (which I'm doubting).

If the cabin was unlocked and your keys were locked in the trunk, you can pull the cassette from the ski bag and reach into the trunk and possibly get your keys.

I know this probably doesn't help now but it might help someone else in the future...

If the cabin wasnt lock he could have just push the trunk release button on the left of the drivers seat.

I don't think that button works if the trunk is locked (valet lock). Obviously, if the trunk wasn't valet locked and the cabin was open, he could just open the trunk with the outside switch above the license plate...
