We are lucky in Canada with the MSport Package being available on all E60's as a factory installed option. Of course, we have to pay inflated Canadian pricing, but that is one benefit. I would have paid the extra money for the 550 if it was not available. I think the MSport package really separates my car from the others on the road. Everyone sees it as something more than a typical 5er.
I agree and congrats, FRANK970 - just awesome looking 535i you have.

My 535xi MSport in Alpine White is being delivered to me tomorrow, Nov 29 here in Kelowna. The MSport is tres cool.

I am going a different route, wheel wise - keeping the 135Ms for summer, and adding (today) 17" OEM BMW 138 wheels with 4 Dunlop snows for winter.

I picked up my car almost two weeks ago. I spent some time in Vegas, but the rest of the time I have been driving. I love it! The car has exceeded my expectations so far.

I just thought I would share a few of my thoughts. No pictures yet because I can?t seem to keep the car clean. I will post them after I get my wheels (20? IForged Essens) put on in the spring. Thanks Fantastic 5. Winter set-up right now.

I have kept the RPMS below 4K, so my experiences are based upon that.

Raves:
-Smooth power at any rev. Wow. This engine is spectacularly smooth. Must be the flat torque curve. I can just pick apart traffic. I am shocked at how it jumps ahead.
-IDrive works fine. What are all the car magazines talking about? An expert in 2 days.
-Planted feel on the road. Not since my 911, 7 years ago have I felt so solid on the road. Confidence inducing feel. I forgot what the road really felt like. The Japanese cars I have driven since just do not feel as good on the road.
-MSPort Package: This is the really big one. This is what separates the car from other 5er?s. Enthusiasts and non see the car as something special. I love it.
-Comfort Access: Amazing how you enter and turn on a car reinforces that you are driving something special
-Carbon Black: This is a spectacular colour when clean.

Not sure: The transmission is so good and smooth, that even in manual sport mode I feel that I should let up on the gas pedal to create that typical manual feel. Slower, but somehow it feels more involved. I do miss a full manual, but love the auto most of the time.

Regrets:
-Should have got the Nav. Not because I need the Nav but the I-Drive seems to be only half there without it.

Sorry to ramble on, but bottom line is the E60 is one great car. I?ll be away from the forum again for awhile. I?ll be driving.

Kool! Lets see some pixs!

The AW is a great choice. You must be pretty excited. I have had mine almost 3 weeks now and it is still new and fresh every
time I get in the car. The Honeymoon is still going.

Here are the photos. I'm not a great photographer, but anyways. I tried to capture the Carbon Black. It is a spectacular colour.

I'm still really happy with it!

Congrats... very nice choice of colour... the M-kit looks spectacular on black ;-)

After seeing the recent pictures of your car I have to make sure it shines before I take any of mine. That will have to wait awhile, I need to drive.

And isn't in the middle of the night where you are?

Not just Canada. The Carbon Black option is only exclusive in the U.S. And I thought I had something truly special, there's guys in the world with 520ds in not only Carbon Black, but also MSport trim as well!

I am pushing the car more as the kms climb. Today is a gorgeous day in Vancouver. I don't feel so bad about how much I overpaid.
