Congrats!! I just got my 535 tt a couple of days ago and I agree with you - it's a real pleasure to drive and feels very planted on the road. the MSport package...were you able to order that? Or did you have that added by the dealer after it arrived? Please share details and now I really want to see a pic of your MSport 535i!!
We are lucky in Canada with the MSport Package being available on all E60's as a factory installed option. Of course, we have to pay inflated Canadian pricing, but that is one benefit. I would have paid the extra money for the 550 if it was not available. I think the MSport package really separates my car from the others on the road. Everyone sees it as something more than a typical 5er.

Congrats! Looks great!!

Did you get the SAT or the regular Steptronic?
SAT. I am struggling with the break-in period. I just want to give it. The early returns on the transmission is that it is a spectacular piece of engineering. It is so fast between gears. It will take some getting used to when pushed hard because it is just not as involving as a manual; eventhough, it is way faster.

Canada seems to be the best BMW market... US engine (535i) and Euro equipment (the real M-Sport pack). And pricing seems to be somewhere in between.

Great looking car you have there!

That is why I am in an E60. The boys can ride in back as we head to preschool, then dad gets to blast down the road after they are safely dropped off.

Lookin' good! And nice to see and meet yet another fellow Vancouver-ite!

I also went with iForge Essens -- I've got an order in and am waiting for delivery. What rubber are you going with on the 20's?

Frank, what a great looking car , congrats !! I love the kiddies seats ! I'm carrying a booster myself . I really like the stock wheel and tire set up personally but I know the set up you are getting is very trick. What did you end up doing about the detailing ??
Hopefully we'll see you around town..

Many Cheers !

I am pretty happy with stock wheel set-up. It is better looking than what I thought it would be. They look a little small from the rear with only 245's in back. But yeah, I am pretty happy with them.

With the detailing, I just couldn't get organized. I have two bottles of reflex in my garage and no time. I will have to try and do something in the future. But with Christmas, vacations, and work there is precious little time for detailing. I do find time to drive.
