Got that featured in one of the software revision 13.x in this neck of the woods (ie. singapore) due to some blunders courtesy of the BMW software engineers who were too arrogant to admit mistake as well as to remove it for about six months.
Persistance lobbying from disgruntled owners finally paid off and we are now no longer have to deal with the idiotics messages everytime we have to start the vehicle.
