Sorry to hear that Rudy

My MTech rear is going on in the next week or two.
Too bad my current one is slightly damaged.
The reflectors (and mudflaps ) are already installed and it's the right color.

Not sure if you picked a body shop yet....but I took mine to Kilkery's and they did a great job. I just had minor hood damage but they work on BMW's and other high end cars for the most part. I was surprised at how much they new about the E60.

I know of Kilkerry's but have used Kerr's for years and years. They don't get much better...popped in this morning -- about $1600 damage until they can see what else is needed.

PDC failure warning this morning on restarting the car so we know at least one sensor is toast...

I instantly knew it was an accident when I saw the subject header. Sorry to hear it Rudy.

Yeah, Kerr's pretty much rules. The offending driver wasn't hooked up to an oxygen tank riding shotgun was she? I saw that once on Ft. Couch Rd. I'll never forget the sights of driving in the 'burgh. Never knew when you should laugh and when you should call the police...

Dude! No wonder our insurance rates are so high! So you get "us" money and obviously the so called "lawyer" gets even more.

It's good to hear you're OK.
It's a shame you had to experience that. The thing that would drive me crazy is having the car at the shop waiting for it to be repaired and probably driving a loaner that is less than half the price of the 545.

Sorry to read about your "innovative" solution

uno I half way expect a detailed PDF on how to..... the kind we have come to expect from you

I am glad u do have to report about any injuries as well. As long as it gets repaired properly is there any impact to your lease terms at turn-in? Never leased so I have no idea.

I'm sure you could just purchase these in any BMW parts dept. at your local dealership.

Dude, I don't think you get the gist of my post...

I only chose to answer the least important concern. Obviously I knew others would do what everyone else does. Sorry to hear...glad you are ok...yadda, yadda, yadda...

Figuring you can post on the board after the mishap, I assume you are just fine, and that is a good thing.

Your "rear" will be too once the monkey man is done with his wrench job.

Hope you had a good laugh too.

Even though it's driveable, I can't (won't) drive it now.? Just something about driving around in a wrecked car that's usually clean and pristine -- I don't handle that very well...

Now that sets the standard for pride of ownership.
