Too funny....but seriously that sucks.? Hopefully its as simple as a new bumper skin

It'll be a bit more than the skin but I don't think there's any sheetmetal work needed -- then again, who knows what they'll find once they tear into it...

I'm sure you could just purchase these in any BMW parts dept. at your local dealership.

Because it sickens me too much. I don't need to have them visible for eternity here.

Even though it's driveable, I can't (won't) drive it now. Just something about driving around in a wrecked car that's usually clean and pristine -- I don't handle that very well...

Then can u send them to me on a personal level? haha no dont if you dont want to... but pics explain damages better than words... see how well the car holds up.

As for driving a wrecked car I feel the same... (*knock on wood*) I wouldnt want to drive around in a wrecked car. it will go stragiht to the body shop. Full insurance... will get it fixed then worry about whos paying it. Let insurance work it out then. Benefit of having full coverage. I DONT WANT TO USE IT THO!!!!

I didn't try it yet but since the middle two sensors are now behind the bumper skin, I"m thinking they're gonna detect an object that is pretty close!

Rudy,

Not sure if you picked a body shop yet....but I took mine to Kilkery's and they did a great job. I just had minor hood damage but they work on BMW's and other high end cars for the most part. I was surprised at how much they new about the E60.

I know of Kilkerry's but have used Kerr's for years and years. They don't get much better...popped in this morning -- about $1600 damage until they can see what else is needed.

PDC failure warning this morning on restarting the car so we know at least one sensor is toast...
