Throw into closest dumpster and buy my RD Sport spoiler I have for sale.

Fits like a glove, and was held on the car with only 3M double sided tape for over a year...never an issue

This is a good option. Do not put rivets through your trunk!!!!

I bought roof and trunk spoilers from a Chinese ebay seller and was very happy with them, both held on with silicon and 3M tape for more than a year.

Don't do it! Dump it on ebay (or return to seller since it sounds like an improperly made POS) and get an OEM one that will fit properly. Don't put holes in your car over bad parts....gonna make a bad situation worse and end up with another lesson learned the hard way.

You have to get every single piece of the tape that came on the spoiler off and clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol before you start. Use the OEM double sided or the heavy duty 3M stuff and press down as hard as you can while applying blue paiter's tape and stretching it super tight. Then, use a massive amount of the tape to hold it down. I mean A LOT of that tape and I mean squeeze it down TIGHT. Cover the whole trunk if you have to. I'm not kidding. If that doesn't work, then set it on fire and try a new one.

Just wondering how you prepped the trunk lid prior to trying to install? Ooops! Missed CW's reply. My point as well.
If that doesn't work, try claying the contact area to remove any wax or poly sealants, then put down towels over the lip and trunk and hold it all down with some weights (plates) or other heavy objects for a couple of hours. Don't think China has anyhting to do with it.

BTW-What side is disbonding? The spoiler or trunk side?

3M double sided tape worked wonders for mine. I prepped really good and cleaned the spoiler very well with adhesive remover, washed my trunk lid really well by hand, apply the 3M tape along the edges very carefully, pressed on, and boom

Its been 7 months and no issues at all.

I don't see how it would be hard to do unless the spoiler is so bad it is bowed up along the edges to prevent flush mounting.

I got them painted from here 4A-Motors the fitment was great, paint was perfect. If it wasn't for the fact that I backed into a prybar my wife left in the middle of my garage I wouldn't be replacing it. Probably order another from them.
