Thumbs up

3M trim tape only, no silicone or glues used. How long should I wait?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Promed,

When I attempted that process with a replica trunk lip spoiler I waited 24 hours. Is this a replica or OEM trunk lip spoiler? I'm not sure about the roof spoiler however, 24 hours should be enough.

Both replica and didn't use the tape they provided. Thanks for the reply.

Well since you have 14 day "sure-release" tape on there, wait for 14 days. It's ok to drive like this. You'll be the talk of the board. I'm sure some guys in the 3-series forums will see you and post a pic.lol

lol, I'm not even opening the garage door. Have a kerosene heater running to keep it a little warmer in there.

No, it didn't blow off. I just decided to go with another spoiler.

Gotcha. I'm not liking this window spoiler. Doesn't seem to flow well with the lines of the car as it sits now.
