They are indeed one in the same.
There's only 2 wood trims. If its not poplar, its the other. Like binary code, its a 0 or 1, nothing else.

Check out the options sheets. Here they list ZIA for 545 only and 435 for the 525/530.

I see where the confusion comes in but this an internal BMW thing and not something we should worry about.?
Thank you very much. That clears up the confusion. I had not seen the option sheets before. I guess the first thing that started the confusion for me was that in the pricelist the words "wood trim" are used for Poplar "438", and Maple "435". But "ZIA" just said "Anthracite Trim" without the word "wood" in there. That combined with the different code made me think that this is not wood and it may be a metal trim like the Titan II, which I prefer to wood. Also it does not help that in the price list they don't have "435" listed as N/A for the 545's.

Again thanks for clearing it up for me,

Sure thing. I re-read my posts and I sounded like a know-it-all dork. Sorry!

It says official debut on Sept 26. That is tommorrow. I wonder if a new price list and availability will be released then? Particularly with navigation, clearing up these option codes, and pricing for certain options.

I hope so...but somehow I doubt it!
