Its impressive no matter what but after seeing the pics I still like the looks of the M5 more. I find the edges of Caddy too sharp. Not bad tho for the price.

But "Overall, still victory to the CTS-V, but just" Haha the CTS-V won in every catagory, 0-60 0-100 and 1/4th mile... too bad... Now lets see some turns... If I recall the CTS-V was just as good... in turns...

I totally respect the power of the caddi and Caddilac is probably the best that it has ever been, but to me it's still a GM.

NOTHING sounds like the M5... but... the Caddy is just faster. Pretty much all the way around.

If you really love BMW, you would never buy a Caddy over a M5. I dont care how fast it is. The only factor in my opinion would be cost. Id drive a 550 sport all day before I drove a CTS-V...

Anyway, i have the opportunity to buy a 2010 6-speed manual CTS-V, brand new at a price that rivals what i paid for my 535 AND GMAC is offering 0% interest FOR 72 months. FREE money for 6 years on a car that pretty much trounces the e60 M5 in EVERY measurable category. Not to mention the fact that I can buy it at probably a $40,000 discount to the f10.

My wife thinks im nuts, because she loves my e60 and thinks its a "prettier" car. I agree. The BMW is a better car, but DAMN.
Lifes short - drive something that makes you happy. The good news is that you could smoke around in the Caddy for 3 years and then score a sweet F10 M5 coming off lease if you care to. So hey, go for it if you want. It's your money. Just one suggestion, don't piss off the wife too much - that's never a good idea.

The only reason a cts-v is faster than a E60 M5 is because,BMW sets the benchmark . It took some years for GM to catch up if you will. When the new F10 M5 comes out it will take GM some years more to catch up. Again a true BMW enthusiast doees not consider a GM to replace a BMW. WTF !!!
