Sure you can... I always have to decide which I want to eat more at the buffet line... the apple or the orange...

wutever floats ur boat. they are both nice cars. why dont u test drive both and see which has a better feel. I never liked the 3.5 engine tho. 3.7 is good and I foresee a G37 sedan very soon

If you don't mind giving up two doors and the name, get a G37! I would take it any time over my 545i if it wasn't for my dumb wife... who wanted a V8 engine and 4 doors for convenience, and of course, a showy BMW tag... Nevermind, on the second thought, I think I will stick with a BMW 545i...

LOL!!...I love my e60..but how can you come to an "e60" forum and ask people to be objective?? Listen....you want a bmw who are you tryin 2 kid. I don't know about you or anyone else but I knew what bmw waz all about and that's what I wanted. I work for Delphi and everyone was tellin me 2 test drive impala and cts(almost got a cts-v) ...I didn't care if they were cheaper.....I WANTED A BIMMA!!! Go over to a infinity forum they will tell you the opposite of what you hear over here. I'm quite sure you've done your research on the two so just get what you love........ BMW

Mrs Sportzfan76 bought an 08 G35X a couple of months ago to replace her 04 Camrey LXI. She looked at and tested several cars including Lexus IS, BWM 3 Series and Audi A4. While each has its own qualities - in the end the Infinity was the best bang for the buck by far. Between end of year and factory incentives we got the car for $1000 less than we were prepared to pay ! (barely $250 over dealer cost) and with .09 financing. The Mrs. didn't really appreciate what the 3 Series offers - and by the time you upgrade the 3 to the features that the G35x had it was a $12K difference. She's happy...and you know that means I'm happy. She does want to know why I don't clean her car as often as I do my own

Buy what you like!!!

That?s the point with competition!

People who are stuck to a brand instead of looking what you can get is the less fortunately....

find an 08 MSO BMW 535i. i just leased one as new with 14K on the odo. my payments are less than a 335, C300, M35, GS350 or anything else out there. but best of all I have a BMW 535. The residuals are indcredible on a bmw lease and they CANNOT be beat. trust me, I looked. When all said and done, I ended up with the car I should have just bought in the first place without even looking at the others and I am paying less than i would if I was driving one of those other cars.

and reliability? the Japanese unarguably have that market cornered, however, BMW will replace my damn windshield wiper blades while under warranty, who the hell else does that??? they cover EVERYTHING except for tires and gas...

I would say drive a 535 if you can find an MSO or Demo to lease as new... then go ahead and drive the other vehicles. I did. I am now the proud owner of a BMW and i dont have an ounce of buyers remorse and I havent said ONCE, hmm, i wonder what it would be like if i bought the infiniti or the lexus... Can you honestly say that if you bought/leased the G35 you would be able to say that considering you passed up a BMW???

just my .02.....
