Hi all, i have a 2004 525D se E60, I have upgraded the whole car to a 2008 M Sport but now i am stuck with 2 things, 1st the airbag in the Msport Wheel as it is a different connector to the the one i have can i simpley buy a plug connector to allow the airbag to work and secondly how do i upgrade to the widescreen display with the satnav etc.

 

The airbag for the sport has a different shape from the standard. You would need a new airbag:

Like balbs said, you need a new airbag, because it's completely different. The other thing you need to take into consideration is that you need a steering wheel that is produced for cars up to 09/2005.

Ok.

The backside of the 2008 (post 09/2005) steering wheel is different compared to a 2004 (pre 09/2005) steering wheel. You can see the difference here in this pic:
