How to reset cabin air filter service message?
So I've been looking around for about an hour and I can't seem to find a straight answer. (Whether I can reset this myself or I need to head to a stealer)
The cabin air filters needed to be replaced, idrive let me know that every time I got in the car. I just replaced them, and I'm wondering how to "reset" the clock or get rid of the service message. I've read some pretty ridiculous answers (hard resetting the entire computer including odo) and I can't imagine this should requires something so drastic. Thanks in advance
ps, forgot to mention, 2006 530i

It's a bit of a convoluted procedure, but here's a thread from our sister board that will guide you. Reset Oil/Microfilters/Service/etc with Pictures! - BMW M5 Forum and M6 Forums
