Well, how do you tell if it's a sport by just looking at it? The shadowline trim? I'm not familiar enough with the wheels from BMW, and on top of that people can easily just change them. Is there a different bumper? Is there a stock bumper, a sports package, and then the M Aero? I don't know.

I have yet to see a 535xi in my area like mine. Most of the 535s are i's, and most E60's I see are either 525s or 530. Not many have jumped on the LCI wagon yet.

If you're in the US then shadowline trim is the best indicator short of looking under the car for ASR/dynamic drive. There may be some non sports with shadowline fitted but this is just a forum question not an official census

I don't know about the sport package, but 75% of the E60's I see on the highway have a M-tech kit.

I've only seen M-Tech kits on M5s and 550i's. In fact, don't 550s come with the aero kit standard? Of course this year you can get it as an option on all E60s, but before that you could still order it as an accessory from BMW.

Wish I had the M Aero kit.

My area I rarely see ones with Sport Package. I also rarely see V8's.

Actually it has to have been at least three/four months or so since I've seen a 545/550 with sport package.

Lot of 530xi's and 530i's. Oh well makes me feel like the big dog.

Where i live, the vast majority of 5ers are M Sport models. I very seldom see a non sport version.

Is that where you used to live before moving to the US?

Ah! Cool. I used to live in Surrey for a short while. Lived in Hook Heath, right next to Woking Golf Club. Then moved back to Poole.
