Yes, all loaners at the dealer are non-SP. I disagree, it is mush. I've never heard anyone complain about the SP ride in my car. In fact, people are amazed.

You do realize that your car is non-sport, right? The XI has a standard suspension. The sport pack on the XI is entirely cosmetic.

I drove a non-sport 545i for 3 years and now have sport 550i. I only notice the difference if I drive aggressively through the corners. Actually, both cars are very comfortable.

You've driven an E60 without SP ? Believe me, it's no mushy Lexus garbage. It puts sport packages on other cars to shame.

I would say that it is about 1-2 out of 10 here in southern Finland.
I was in central and south eastern Sweden for three days last week (drove 1200km), and there I would say it is about 4 out of 10. They also have a lot more BMW cars in Sweden than we do in Finland.

ObD appears to have missed the fact that you have Dynamic Drive (ARS in the US, and the prime component of the US Sport Package...) Your cars are comparably equipped, hence why you feel yours is as good as his - because it is.

all of these replies make me think, all us SP owners are special really!
It's just that we prefer a stiffer ride. It's the way BMW intended until they started competing with Lexus. Non-SP is softer.
